Has anyone else noticed this? I haven't been here too long, but I've definitely started noticing some members not being very active etc. Kinda makes me depressed.

Well, that is a side effect of one of the coolest features of Guild Wars - you can leave it indefinitely and come back any time. Many of them will be back I imagine, once Factions is out.

Some people stopped posting because they have other gaming forums to attend to. When factions comes out, more peeps will show up. I can give you that.

Just be glad that we still have loyal members around. It's what keeps the site going.

Unfortunatley I won't be getting factions until mid may- (Birthday). I will definately be staying around, though. I'm not missing out on much, only a little party and a few items that will become useless :P

It's not like we force people to stay here once they've signed up; they can come and go as they will. Unless you want to be assimilated, that is. Arrangements can be made, for a price... access codes to the Zion mainframe.

Avari Zi was one of my favorite posters. She is currently playing Final Fantasy Online.

Don't know what happened to Epic, but I think he'll come back.

Sir, it's great that you're still here with us

Well, I am obviously not what you would consider an old poster, but I know that there are many people taking a break right now, I being one of them. I completely agree with Lasher that being able to do that is part of the beauty of a game like Guild Wars, I mean the fact that I don't have to pay a monthly fee makes me feel less dedicated to it, and now I really only play when I have a Guild Wars craving. This, as you can imagine, has been happening quite often recently in anticipation for the release of Factions. I also missed some of the great conversations I have had on these boards (mainly the off-topic forums mind you) and decided to come back, anyways I am glad that I am back, and although I was not able to make myself known by this community in my previous time, I hope that I will be able to become a good part of this community as I know some of you have become. In the coming days in wait for Factions, I intend to be a fairly active member on these boards and to hopefully make a good reputation for myself. Anyways, thats just my two cents...

I wouldn't mind that. A "reunion thread" of sorts.

I did that for a while, sort of. I never really went away, but I slowed down my posting for a while, then I came back, and now I can't leave because I sold my post average for a customizable title.

SOT was banned.

And I think Xue Yi Lang is still around. He just doesn't post as much as he used to and not in Off-Topic.
